BILL OF RIGHTS
An
exceptional new nation, an experiment in
democracy, a Constitutional Republic was introduced to
the world with the creation of the Constitution on
September 17, 1787. This “more perfect union” – a
system of self-governance by “We The People” was
strengthened on December 15, 1791, when a unique
collection of ten laws, known as the Bill of Rights, was
incorporated into the Constitution. With visionary
forethought, our Founding Fathers recognized that the
Bill of Rights would protect future generations of
Americans from their own government, ensuring America
and her citizens remain forever free and prosperous.
