is always the touchstone of freedom. To know the blessing of
freedom is to value the light of truth and realize that God’s grace is at the
heart of the American experience, embodied in the spirit of this
exceptional nation.
It’s no wonder that we marvel at the genius and wisdom of our Founding
Fathers. Their vision for a new country and the idea that generated it – a
free nation – governed by, of, and for the people – enshrined Americans
with a heritage as free people with God-given rights, guided by truth and
a fearless nature to chart our destiny.
What a remarkable gift America is in the history of the world. Americans
owe all who came before us, from the Founding Fathers to the men and
women who have heroically served our country with bravery and courage,
from the Revolutionary War in the 18th century and forward. Warriors of
freedom and the light of truth, Americans are grateful to one and all for
protecting our inheritance and giving us the strength and determination to
bring the light wherever we go.
Pray that Americans will stand together and forever be united in freedom
and that the torch of liberty never dims on the “Shining City on the Hill.”
God bless our mighty nation – America.
